Sweaters, sweaters, sweaters

Winter crochet is simply not as fun as summer crochet. The items take longer, and I think that really kills the motivation to keep going. Nevertheless, I've finished a super cute cropped cotton pullover in a lovely lavender gray!
*Drops Safran cotton yarn
*3.5mm hook
*1-2 weeks

I would love to make another in a cotton/acrylic blend, and a darker color. I do, however, absolutely love this design despite it being a bit time-consuming. I will admit (only here) that I had to recount many, many times, only to still come up slightly off on the sleeves sometimes. I don't always frog when it's something for me, what can I say besides I'm lazy... =P

There are two others in the making that I hope to share soon. One also from MermaidCat, another evolved from an ErinBethCrochet pattern.

Quick Photo Blog

A get-to-know-this-hooker post ;] These are a select few of my creations from old to newest, with the last being my current WIP!

Let's begin! Here we have my belle yarn bowl full of a motif that was turned into something different that can be seen here.

Pink crop top I made for my little sister. It was my first time making something that wasn't my size. The pattern is by my favorite designer.

I tried mixing fibers & textures to make this free-handed acrylic/cotton ultra crop. Looks superb with black bikini bottoms.

Everyone's gotta try an advanced pattern that they struggle with sooner or later. This beauty took me over a month. I had finished about 75% of the main body, only to discover it was too big. I was so frustrated I waited 5 days to restart. All that frogging, all that 2mm stitchin' paid off... I only got to wear it once this summer XD

These days, I have quite a few more rows on this simple black & white rug for our main room. Avec 100% cotton and a 5.5mm hook, I started from a random Pinterest pattern (4-5 rows) and completely veered off into my own thing. It'll be laid between our couch and TV center.
